We are in need of all printer cartridges, used cell phones, old towels, blankets, cat food, large pet mate crates, new litter boxes, litter, foster homes, forever homes, volunteers, and just about anything you could imagine. We ensure you that anything you can offer, we will find a way to use it to save a life. **IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT D.R.E.A.M.S. & W.I.S.H.E.S.~ AS OF 01/01/2007 ANY CATS TAKEN INTO A FOSTER IN ASSOCIATION WITH THIS ORGANIZATION MUST PROVIDE PROOF THAT THE PET BEING SURRENDERED HAS BEEN TESTED FOR FELINE LEUKEMIA (FELV) AND FELINE AIDS (FIV) PRIOR TO SURRENDER AND REQUIRED PAPERWORK PROVIDED BY LICENSED VET! IF IT ISN'T POSSIBLE TO TEST THE SURRENDERED ANIMAL PRIOR TO RELEASE, IT WILL BE REQUIRED THAT A $40.00 DONATION BE GIVEN TO THE D.R.E.A.M.S. MEMBER TO HAVE SAID TESTS DONE AT LICENSED VET. Who We Are

D.R.E.A.M.S. & W.I.S.H.E.S. is a small non-profit cat and animal rescue Dedicated to the Removal and Eradication of Animals Meaningless Suffering and Working to Insure Safe Homes for Every Stray. We are a small group of volunteers and foster families dedicated to the placement of homeless and abused animals into safe and loving homes. Our Dreams: To provide sanctuary for abandoned and abused animals and to find them permanent loving homes; To further public education about neglected, abused, and homeless pets; To create awareness and support, within our community, for the humane treatment of cats both domestic and feral; To spay, neuter and vaccinate EVERY animal that comes into our program; and Provide comfort to animals awaiting placement in permanent loving homes. Our Future W.I.S.H.E.S: To some day build a sanctuary that will house hundreds of abused, abandoned, and homeless animals that would otherwise be killed in shelters or die alone on the streets. We D.R.E.A.M. big but our goal is to become the largest "No Kill" rescue in the state of Tennessee! You can help us achieve our goals by donating to our building fund! Adopting a friend

Adoption amount per pet is required to aid with reimbursement of veterinary and other expenses (spay, neuter, etc.) Adoption fee may vary with each pet. Special multi-pet discounts are available. Our adoptable animals are rescue animals and as protected rescue animals you have to agree to keep you new pet away from unvaccinated and stray animals. YOU MUST BE HUMANE AND ONLY CONTAIN YOUR PET OUTDOORS IN A FENCED YARD (FOR EXERCISE ONLY) OR INDOORS (crate must not be used for more than 6-8 hours once a day. A dog tie out is acceptable as long as it is used only for exercise. It is not acceptable to use a tied out for permanent outdoor living. You also agree to keep your new pet up-to-date yearly on all vaccinations and boosters and routing internal/external parasite control including worming, flea & heartworm prevention, routing health care, as well as, any unexpected health care issues that arise, etc. as deemed necessary by your veterinarian. Cats: DE-CLAWING is a decision between you and your vet. We do ask that you don’t make this decision lightly. If de-clawing is the route you take then we ask that you only have the front paws de-clawed. De-clawing all four paws removes your cat’s ability to defend itself if they get outdoors. Leaving the back claws will allow your cat the ability to climb a tree. Dogs: TAIL DOCKING & EAR CLIPPING absolutely forbidden! Any pet adopted from D & W that is later found to be tail docked or ear clipped will be immediately removed from the home and placed back into the care of D & W. There will be NO refunds any any medical care or procedures are at the cost of the adoptee and will not be refunded! A home visit can and may be done at the discretion of D.R.E.A.M.S, and your new pet will be brought to you (when possible). The visit is to be expected for all adoptions. Any out of town transportation donation is required. Failure to comply with any agreement in this contract will result in your adopted pet being picked up and returned back to D.R.E.A.M.S. AND W.I.S.H.E.S. No-Kill Animal Rescue at your (the adopter's) expense and adoption fees, vetting fees, & other expenses that you have incurred while pet is in your care will not be returned. No exceptions!!!!!
